I met up with Chelsea over warm coffee in the chill of a MN fall day. Chelsea had been working on her new Modehaus bridal line for some time and had a vision in her head of how it should be shared. What Chelsea did next is music to any creative directors ears - “I trust your vision. Just run with it”.
From that moment on, months of planning, prop shopping, model fittings and Pinterest board pins commenced. There were some hiccups on the journey (a family emergency for her and one month Mayo stay for me) that delayed the shoot date, but man, did it make it better. It forced more time for perfecting and finishing and represented so much more that just a job. Good things take time. It takes time. Time.
The props were bought, a hired an incredible photographer to do the shoot so I could solely focus on Art Directing, things were painted, I brought a videographer on board who was itching for new content, Homedepot trips were made, and the shoot happened. Here’s some photos of everything that happened to make this shoot happen.
And because I personally LOVE seeing how photographer “got this shot”, here you go.
