Verve, a beach town coffee shop that has since boomed into a global brand, sought to update its content look and feel to establish a stronger connection with its trendsetting audience.


THE ASK
Verve needed a refresh to its brand content across DTC, social, and other digital channels. We explored product and lifestyle photography through realistic, yet luxurious settings, tasting note images that stir the senses, and vibrant talent interactions.

THE EXECUTION
Bethany spearheaded the brand’s first-ever comprehensive and strategic creative brief encompassing all content categories, including product imagery, tasting notes, and lifestyle content. We showcased where coffee shows up for us in our lives but in a playful, unexpected way. The revamped content on their website earned Verve the prestigious Gold accolade at the 2022 W3 Awards and the esteemed recognition of Webby 2023 Honoree.

The concept of “tasting notes” was captured directly, genuinely, and lightheartedly – staying away from the pretentious trope of the coffee connoisseur. With the tasting note visuals levitating within the scene, anyone can become a coffee expert.
