In August of this year, I woke up with a sudden shift in my health. Unable to move my right hand, pain (lots and lots and lots of it) and weakness from head to toe. Beyond the physical pain I was experiencing, emotionally I felt like I was cheated. I thought I had reached the finish line. I thought that after having major brain surgery last September that my body would get back to normal. I thought I was over this era. Well, I guess not.

So here I am, painting again. I find peace in the messiness of it. I like being imperfect. I like painting my view of things, in all its globs and glory.
